Teaching Experience: 

Private piano instructor, 2003-Present: Experience includes founding and maintaining a private studio of 20-25 students ranging from ages 3 to adult and levels of beginner through advanced. Responsibilities include providing instruction for all students with the goal of promoting growth in their music education, fostering student success by showing flexibility in style and delivery methods as well as exhibiting a passion for teaching and student interaction, drilling various practice techniques in lessons with students to accellerate the efficiency of their at home practice abilities, analyzing each students' weaknesses to prescribe practice techniques in order to minimize mistakes, coordinating performance opportunities (including at least 2 recitals per year) to expand each students' musical experience and reperoire, managing the learning environment through effective record keeping in order to asses and guide each student towards their goals, maintaining a website and all social media accounts to recruit new students, and managing all accounting and administrative duties to increase efficency and profits of the studio. Experience also includes instructing students with Autism, Dyslexia and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.  

MusiCampLA, 2014-2015: Co-Founded, and lead a summer music camp to provide a learning environment that would promote the appreciation and love of music, created a week long cirriculum that included music appreciation, music theory, world music, applied instrumental instruction, and music history to promote a familiarization, and appreciation of various types of music. Rehearsed with all campers and produced multiple performances during the duration of the music camp to expose them to contemporary performance practices. Co-Directed a music video with all the participating campers to inspire and challenge each camper. 

Maple Bear School, 2015-2016: Traveled to Seoul, Korea and taught English and Music to children ages 3-8. Instructed students using a variety of mediums to help promote their English education, developed a cultural awareness in order to function with a global perspective, engaged classrooms of students in an English immersion cirriculum despite cultural and language barriers, managed 5 diverse classroom settings and built many cross cultural relationships.

Freelance Concert Pianist: 2005-present.  Responsibilities include performing in solo recitals, piano competitions, festivals, weddings, funerals, graduation parties, ceremonies, and other events, maintaining an efficient practice routine including 4-8 hours of practice daily, applying common practice techniques in effective ways in order to master various pieces of music and ensure personal musicality during performance. 


Collaboration Experience: 

Choral Accompanist, 2011: accompanied various solo and ensemble groups for various concerts put on by the Rimrock Opera in Billings, Montana that included opera and musical theater selections. Responsibilities included rehearsing with musical theater and opera singers to increase musicality, rehearsing with the choir to develop a sense of collaboration, and performing 8 shows. 

Choral Accompanist, 2007-2009: accompanied grades K-6 for a multiple programs at Blue Creek Elementary School in Billings, Montana.

Freelance Collaborative Pianist, 2005-Present: experience includes collaborating with ensembles, singers, and instrumentalists for auditions, master classes, recordings, juries, recitals, rehearsals, weddings, funerals, and various other events. Duties include rehearsing with various instrumentalists and vocalists to guarantee a quality perforance and effectively communicating with diverse musicians to ensure musical and stylistic success during performance.

Choral Accompanist, 2012-2013: choral accompanist for the First Baptist Church of Glendale, California. Responsibilities included rehearsing with the choir for 3 hours per week, rehearsing with 1 soloist each week, performing 1 service every sunday, and collaborating for 4 yearly holiday concerts with choir, soloists, and orchestra.
